Terms & Conditions

We are a family run business with customer satisfaction, honesty and quality at the centre of our values. In the event of any dispute we prefer to resolve any issue to the best of our ability and to the satisfaction of all parties without hiding behind any legalities or terms and conditions.

Getting your goods to you swiftly and safely is of utmost importance to us. Hence, our products are hand crafted to order so we never want to compromise the quality of your goods. We transport your products to you in our own vehicles to ensure your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Our delivery team will let you know when your delivery is due to arrive. They will give you plenty of time to arrange a delivery date that is convenient for you. Usually orders take around 8 weeks from start to finish but this is entirely dependant on the fabric choices you have made. Occasionally there can be delays in production due to materials chosen. If this is the case don’t worry we will keep you informed throughout and try to keep production time to a minimum.

Moreover, costs will depend on your location. Although we are a local company to Cambridge we do however deliver to homes across the UK.

In addition, please ensure the room your new furniture is going to be placed in is easily accessible and that your goods will be able to pass through doors and stairs without damage. If you have a difficult room to get furniture into please let us know. We can help by building the furniture with detachable arms and feet to help with the installation process.

Cancellations & Returns

Unfortunately any bespoke piece of furniture may not be cancelled by you, either before or after delivery. We have no obligation to take back any of these goods. However, in some cases we may be willing to but this will incur a 50% restocking charge and is entirely our decision.

Moreover, should you wish to return any goods it is your responsibility to take good care of the furniture. You are the owner of the furniture once it has been delivered to you. Therefore, you are liable for any loss or damage. Failure to take reasonable care may result in refusal to accept returned goods and a claim raised against you. To minimise the risk of any such claim we ask that you return the goods in appropriate packaging.

On receipt of the returned goods, if they have been deemed to be in an acceptable condition your refund will be paid to you by the method in which you paid us. We aim to do this within 14 working days.

We have written these guarantees to ensure you know what to expect from your furniture. They apply in addition to your statutory rights in relation to miss described of faulty goods.

We are proud to offer a 20 year guarantee on our furniture frames. So, we build these to the best of our ability with years of experience and quality workmanship. Therefore, we are confident they will last. Our cushion fillings, and coverings are guaranteed for up to one year from the date of delivery. These terms only apply to the original buyer and cannot be passed to third parties.

We guarantee our furniture because we are confident in our workmanship. In addition, these terms do not cover fair wear and tear, neglect abuse or miss use of goods. We do not cover loss or damage due to unreasonable exposure to the weather, fire smoke or infestations.

We offer a large range of fabrics to give you style and variety. However, we do have to state that occasionally fabric batches may vary. All of our fabrics are made from natural materials and therefore can have small variations, most often this is colour. Although this is often barely noticeable to the untrained eye.

However, we cannot accept any responsibility for fading or discolouration of your furniture. Also we cannot accept any responsibility for furniture left in direct or indirect sunlight. This is because it affects all fabrics differently and will always affect the colour of a fabric.

Furthermore, fabrics will also react to chemicals. We cannot take any responsibility for the affect any cleaning or other chemicals may have on your furniture. Please ensure all furniture is covered in the event of a chemical being used nearby. We recommend any furniture covers are dry cleaned to maintain quality.
